Where we start

You’ve Already Made the Hardest Decisions. Now Let’s Help You Move Forward.

Divorce is never just a legal process.

Long before paperwork is filed, most couples have spent countless hours having difficult conversations, weighing impossible decisions, and working toward an agreement that feels right for both of them.

By the time many people reach Keep It Simple Divorce, they’ve already done the hardest work.

They aren’t looking for someone to argue their case in court or negotiate every detail. They want an experienced attorney to carefully prepare the legal documents, guide them through California’s divorce requirements, and help bring everything to a thoughtful conclusion.

That’s exactly what attorney Hong Nguyen set out to create.

Keep It Simple Divorce is dedicated exclusively to couples who have already reached a general agreement regarding the terms of their divorce or dissolution of domestic partnership. Whether you’re completing an uncontested divorce, a default divorce, or a dissolution of domestic partnership, Hong helps transform your agreements into legally prepared documents, guides clients through the required financial disclosures, and drafts the terms of the stipulated judgment.

A Good Divorce Judgment Doesn’t Just End a Marriage. It Helps Protect What Comes Next.

It’s easy to think of divorce paperwork as a collection of legal forms and an agreement.

Hong sees something much more important.

Every agreement is a roadmap for the future.

The language you choose today may affect your finances, your property, your parenting arrangements, and your peace of mind for years to come. Questions that seem small now can become sources of conflict later if they aren’t carefully addressed before the judgment is finalized.

That’s why Hong approaches every divorce with one simple philosophy: Think beyond today.

Attorney Nguyen carefully prepares every agreement with an eye toward the details people often don’t realize they’ll need until long after the divorce is over. The goal isn’t simply to complete paperwork. It’s to help you move forward with confidence, knowing your agreement has been prepared with care and specifically to your situation.

Your Divorce. Your Decisions. Your Future.

One of the things Hong believes most strongly is that the people ending a marriage should remain at the center of the decisions that shape its conclusion.

When couples can reach an agreement together, they retain something incredibly important: the ability to decide what their future looks like instead of asking someone else to decide for them.

Keep It Simple Divorce honors the work you’ve already done by helping you formalize those decisions through careful legal drafting and thoughtful guidance, not by changing the agreement you’ve already reached.

For many families, that creates a process that feels more respectful, more personal, and more empowering.
